We're building the agent layer
engineers can actually trust.
Podcode gives engineering teams frontier-grade coding agents that run on open models, inside a cloud GPU account they control. No source code leaves their tenancy. And because we're an agent-first company, we prove it the hard way: our own fleet of agents builds Podcode on Podcode, under the exact privacy and approval guarantees we ship to you.
Why we built this.
When I founded Podcode in 2026, the goal wasn't just to build another software startup. I envisioned an agent-first corporation-a company structure where AI agents act not as mere assistants, but as autonomous employees with distinct domains of ownership. Today, with a single human founder at the helm, much of our company-from core infrastructure to UI design-is enabled by a coordinated fleet of agents running on our own infrastructure.
The vision was born from a simple reality: building next-generation developer tools no longer requires bloated teams or massive overhead. The industry was trapped paying steep per-token taxes on frontier APIs - and shipping proprietary code to someone else's servers to do it. Open-weight models like Qwen, DeepSeek, and Llama now run many of those workflows on hardware you control, so no code ever leaves the building.
Whole categories of engineering teams - regulated industries, defense, healthcare, anywhere source code is the crown jewel - are locked out of the best AI tools, because those tools require sending code to the cloud. Podcode is built so those teams never have to choose between frontier agents and the security posture they're required to keep.
Most of the work was plumbing: switching between cloud APIs, managing GPU clusters, and writing glue code just to make different endpoints work together.
Podcode was built to remove that friction. It connects Anthropic, OpenAI, RunPod, and Ollama as equal citizens, with an interface built around the real unit of agentic work: the session-a continuous, multi-turn conversation that lives directly alongside your code.
We run lean. Guided by a single human founder, our agent fleet ships and iterates every day, running on our own infrastructure - the same private, human-approved pipeline we sell you. We think the agent-first company is where software development is heading, including for teams whose code can never leave the building, and we're building the tools to get you there.

Four things we hold to.
Working with investors.
Building a capital-efficient company
We run an agent-first operation that ships real product with unusually low overhead. We work with a small group of investors who share that thesis - if that's you, we'd love to talk.
